Arts & Crafts style, featuring clean, simple lines and geometric shapes, hardware reflects the principles of the Arts and Crafts movement, which emerged in the late 19th century as a reaction against the mass-produced, ornate designs of the Victorian era. Craftsman hardware often showcases handcrafted details such as hammered textures, hand-carved motifs, and artisanal finishes.

These backplates measure approximately 8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. The Privacy Backplate will have an additional hole for the privacy pin (not included). Sold individually. 

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
