This Victorian Eastlake Style Hook showcases highly detailed craftsmanship inspired by the Eastlake movement, a late 19th-century design style known for its intricate patterns and emphasis on handcrafted quality. Popularized by architect and writer Charles Eastlake, this style remains a favorite for historic homes and traditional interiors.
Each hook is hand cast from solid brass using traditional sand casting methods, then carefully ground and polished by hand to achieve its refined finish. This time-honored process preserves the intricate detailing and ensures each piece has a unique, high-quality character.
Measuring approximately 3 7/8 inches long by 2 1/2 inches tall, this hook features a sturdy design suitable for coats, hats, or decorative use. The mounting holes have an approximate center-to-center spacing of 9/10 inch, and the base measures about 1 1/2 inches wide. Includes two mounting screws for installation.
Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
All measurements are approximate.
