French Provincial hardware style, also known as French Country or French Rustic, is inspired by the rustic charm and elegance of the French countryside. This style emerged during the 17th and 18th centuries in rural regions of France, where artisans crafted furniture and architectural elements that reflected the simplicity and beauty of rural life.

These door sets are surface mounted. The standard backset provided is 2 3/8 inches, with the option to substitute it with a 2 3/4 inch backset at no additional if requested at time of purchase.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
