Romanesque architecture influenced the design of door hardware, hinges, locks, and other fittings. Metalwork in Romanesque buildings often featured intricate designs, such as geometric patterns, interlacing motifs, and stylized foliage, reflecting the craftsmanship of the period.

These door sets are surface mounted. The standard backset provided is 2 3/8 inches, with the option to substitute it with a 2 3/4 inch backset at no additional if requested at time of purchase.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
