This Bamboo and Wren Bird Door Pull features an ornate nature-inspired design with a right-facing wren perched among bamboo branches, creating a distinctive decorative element for doors, gates, or large furniture pieces.
Hand cast from solid brass and finished by hand, this pull measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, with a projection of 3 1/4 inches and a maximum width of 3 1/4 inches, offering both visual presence and a comfortable grip.
The design originates from an antique Parisian estate, reflecting an Anglo-Japonaise decorative influence. This aesthetic blends European craftsmanship with East Asian artistic inspiration and became especially popular during the English Regency period, notably in interiors influenced by the design of the Brighton Pavilion. The mold for this piece was created from a rare original matched pair of antique pulls.
This pull comes complete with mounting hardware, and a matching left-facing bird pull is also available to create a balanced decorative pair for double doors or symmetrical installations.
