During the Victorian era (1837-1901), there was a significant emphasis on ornamentation and embellishment in design. This included intricate patterns, motifs, and detailing on various household items, including doorknobs and their accompanying rosettes.

These rosette plates measure approximately 4 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches. The Privacy Rosette will have an additional hole for the privacy pin (not included). Sold individually.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
