Enhance your doors with the timeless elegance of this Ribbon & Reed Push Plate, a design inspired by classical architectural motifs. The ribbon and reed pattern, rooted in ancient Greek and Roman design, features gracefully intertwined ribbons paired with finely reeded detailing. This decorative motif later experienced renewed popularity during the Renaissance and continues to symbolize classical beauty and refinement.

Hand cast and finished from solid brass, this push plate provides both durability and decorative appeal while protecting doors from wear caused by frequent use. Its slender, elongated form makes it an excellent choice for traditional interiors, historic restorations, and formal entryways.

The plate measures approximately 2 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall and comes complete with mounting hardware for easy installation. A coordinating pull plate is also available for a matching door hardware set.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
