This 2 3/4 inch backset privacy style latch is designed for use with privacy door knob sets where a locking function is required. It is commonly used on bathroom and bedroom doors, allowing the door to be locked from the inside while still providing emergency access if needed.

This listing includes only the latch mechanism. Face plates, strike plates, and mounting screws are not included.

A 2 3/8 inch backset privacy latch option is also available for doors requiring the shorter backset configuration.
