Measure 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. Marked on back of each No. 17, Pat Jan 13 1880 with the size. Ornate styling on both sides. The finials and pins are removeable. Made with the lost-wax casting process, sometimes known by the French name of cire perdue is an ancient practice that is still used for artwork today and it is used to preserve the fine details of the original door components.

Available in polished brass, antique brass, and Black Bronze. This component is made from solid unlaquered brass which will patina naturally over time. These hinges are sold in pairs.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
