In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Art Nouveau movement embraced organic forms and natural motifs, including feathers. Amber glass doorknobs were also popular at this time, known for their elegance and craftsmanship.
These door sets are surface mounted. The standard backset provided is 2 3/8 inches, with the option to substitute it with a 2 3/4 inch backset at no additional if requested at time of purchase.
Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.

Crafting amber colored glass is a meticulous process, known for its intricacy. When you order doorknob sets together, we'll try to ensure all your knobs are the same shade of amber. But if you place multiple orders over time, there might be slight differences in the amber tone.
