What bothers us about curtain holds you find in the stores today is that they are either plastic or made from the lowest quality zinc alloy. They break and lose their luster overnight and they look cheap even from a distance.

These curtain tie backs are made from solid brass and they are made the old fashioned way. We pour molten brass into highly detailed sand cast molds and then grind and polish the pieces by hand.

The stems are made from solid brass and hand-turned on a lathe. The wall mount screws are solid steel just like they were made a hundred years ago.

Measures 2 3/4 inch in diameter with a projection of 3 7/8 inch. Sold individually and these screw directly into wall no mounting hardware is required. For proper installation, it is recommended to drill a pilot hole before securing the curtain tie back hardware, ensuring precise alignment and preventing breakage during installation.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
