In the 18th and 19th centuries, with the rise of neoclassical and Rococo styles, floral patterns became prevalent in decorative arts and hardware. During the Victorian era, floral patterns reached new heights of popularity, as the era's romantic sensibilities and fascination with nature led to the widespread use of floral motifs in decorative arts and interior design.

These rosette plates measure approximately 3 3/8 inches in diameter. The Privacy Rosette will have an additional hole for the privacy pin (not included). Sold individually.

Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
