These hand-made door bells are made from solid brass and they are made the old fashioned way. We pour molten brass into highly detailed sand cast molds and then grind and polish the pieces by hand. The buttons are made from solid brass and hand-turned. The wall mount screws are solid steel just like they were made a hundred years ago.
Don't be fooled into buying cheaper pot-metal replicas - your friends & visitors won't be fooled by the cheaper version, either. There are some out there that are less expensive this one is solid brass and finished by hand.
Uses 24 Volt maximum (standard doorbell circuits). Includes all necessary mounting hardware. This door bell measures 2 1/2 Inches Inches in diameter.
Requires recess cutout width of approximately 0.46 Inches. It is an easy direct screw mount and connects on normal door bell voltage with two common wires.
Available finishes include: Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Black Bronze, Polished Chrome, and Satin Nickel.
Polished brass is an unlacquered living finish that will naturally darken over time, and slight variations between pieces are normal. All other finishes will not tarnish. For a long-lasting high-shine finish, lacquered brass is available as a custom order.
